Gozer I have a 3 week old Dell Optiplex 760 that emulates the exact same problem as you describe. I have just done the power settings (turned them all off) an now it works fine. Locate KB973879 in the list (if it exists), right click it, and select "Hide Update". is there anyway around this? his comment is here
