But, your fix worked fine, even if the path to the WMP files wasn't exactly correct in Windows 7, but I knew where to find it. What version of Windows are you talking about? I was going crazy trying to figure out how to delete and rebuild the library (until your great instructions). I tried to use the VLC Media player's playlist option instead of the WMP but WMP recognized the VLC as another device.
