I notice above somebody had a CPU go down. Solution 1 works for my laptop! Here's my description: - I tap the mouse to wake up the PC. - the monitor power button led changes from amber to blue. this began after all the updating a few days after we bought it. How To Wake Windows 10 From Sleep I can not see anything else any more, not even during booting the DOS screen has backlit. I would suggest trying sleep mode in lieu of hibernate. Etc. PC was not operational, fans spinning at 100% on the video card. Anyone know. Further I observed that this happens whenever I install new software or windows automatic update triggers. Then I reactivated energy saving and it ran a week or so with no problem, waking up properly even after overnight sleeping.
